An established RBCA are currently looking to hire a Registered Building Inspector in the vicinity of Norfolk. The home-based role is focused on building control, structural warranty and quality standards throughout the build process.
Building Inspector responsibilities:
- Check plans for compliance with Building Regulations, structural warranty criteria, and associated guidance.
- Undertake inspection of works and produce detailed inspection records.
- Ensure inspections have been carried out, with appropriate certification submitted, and that defects/non-conformities have been addressed prior to issuing final certificate.
Building Inspector requirements:
- Class 2 A / B or D - Registered Building Inspector (or actively engaged in the registration process).
- Experience in construction.
- Experience of residential developments from foundation to completion.
