An established RBCA is now recruiting for a Class 2A Registered Building Inspector in Norfolk. Their projects involve a variety of experienced developers and contractors, throughout the development process. Basic salary circa £50,000 - £55,000 plus competitive bonus, company car or car allowance, extended annual leave, flexible working hours, with the opportunity for career progression.

Responsibilities
- Check plans for compliance with building regulations, structural warranty criteria, and associated guidance
- Undertake inspection of works and produce detailed inspection records
- Issue initial notices, plan certificates, amendment notices and final certificates
- Ensure inspections have been conducted with appropriate certification submitted, and that defects/non-conformities have been addressed prior to issuing final certificate
- Operate in accordance with QMS procedures
- Provide mentoring and support for trainee surveyors
- Act as technical liaison internally and externally
Building Inspector
Requirements
- Registered Building Inspector - Class 2 A, B or D (or otherwise approaching completion of the registration process)
- Knowledge of Building Regulations, and related legislation, standards, and environmental concerns
- Excellent relationship xgikmsk management skills
- Problem-solving capability
- IT literate
