We're looking for a data-driven and commercially aware Performance Analysis Manager to lead performance reporting, deliver actionable insights, and support continuous improvements that enhance customer experience, operational performance, and business outcomes.
What You Will Do
- Lead the analysis of train performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee the production of daily, weekly, and periodic performance reports, including contractual reporting requirements.
- Drive the development of reporting and analytical tools, including the continued migration to Power BI and increased automation.
- Present clear, insightful recommendations to senior stakeholders and operational teams to support performance improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Tf L, Network Rail, and internal teams to ensure accurate performance measurement and reporting.
- Support the Performance Improvement Process and provide deputy leadership to the General Manager, Performance & Planning when required.
- Deliver in-depth delay analysis and provide expert advice on rail performance regimes, concession agreements, and industry reporting requirements.
- What You Will Bring
- Experience in performance analysis, business intelligence, or data analytics, ideally within the rail or transport sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into practical business improvements.
- Experience using reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Knowledge of rail industry performance regimes, delay attribution principles, and operational performance metrics is highly desirable.
- Degree-level education in a relevant discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational environment.
