About the Role:
As an Instructional Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in scoping, designing, and developing innovative learning resources. Your expertise in instructional design and adult learning principles will be critical as you work closely with subject matter experts and operational stakeholders to deliver high-quality, fit-for-purpose learning solutions. You'll be responsible for creating both accredited and non-accredited eLearning, blended, and face-to-face resources that support the capability development of our people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to define learning outcomes and development parameters.
- Conduct research and analysis on learners and contexts to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
- Design and develop engaging, compliant learning resources, including materials, assessments, and facilitator guides.
- Create high-quality online learning resources using our preferred eLearning design software.
- Update and adapt existing content for online, blended, or face-to-face delivery.
- Apply tested instructional design theories and methods to meet quality frameworks and improve speed to competency.
- Stay updated on best practices in instructional design and learning methodologies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong proficiency in eLearning design software.
- Qualifications in adult learning and/or instructional design (highly regarded).
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and a self-motivated attitude.
- Enthusiastic approach to adapting in a continually changing work environment.
