Leading food manufacturer looking to appoint a Senior Operations Manager in their London factory to oversee all things product manufacturing.

The candidate –

  1. Drive continuous development in production, quality, cost, and delivery initiatives while building and maintaining relationships with hourly associates, managers, carrier partners, vendors, and various departments within the business.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day production operations, ensuring on-time and accurate delivery of customer orders.
  3. Effectively engage, coach, motivate and lead the Production team for career progression and development.
  4. Monitor communication between multiple production lines to eliminate downtime.
  5. Establish procedures, metrics, and processes to drive productivity and optimization.
  6. Analyse and identify areas of improvement in cost savings, production, and lead times.
  7. Develop and administer operational procedures for outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of products, and keeping the highest standards of quality.
  8. Create, learn, and assist on strategic planning and forecasting to improve existing production issues.
  9. Establish new procedures, metrics, and processes alongside senior management.
  10. Create a positive team dynamic that encourages all employees to provide feedback and drive change within the facility, adapt to the ever-changing business, and stay focused on the customer experience.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally be coming from a strong food manufacturing background, working closely with food-to-go products.
