We are looking for a Head of RTD Business Acceleration EMEA & LATAM! You will be based in our London Offices in Chiswick. The Ready To Drink (RTD) category is growing exponentially with +11% CAGR expected in the next 5 years. Higher quality product propositions have improved the category image and accelerated growth of RTDs serving an unmet consumer need for convenient drinks. RTDs offer Pernod Ricard an opportunity to recruit new consumers, build loyalty to our spirits brands, drive incremental business. Pernod Ricard has set a significant ambition for RTDs & Convenience leveraging our spirits brands to offer premium RTD & Convenience propositions. To deliver the ambition, a Global RTD & Convenience Business Unit (GBU) was created in 2021. The scope of the RTD GBU is to build successful franchises of our international brands. The purpose of the role is to drive the growth of the RTD portfolio throughout the EMEA & LATAM region through a strong collaboration with local Market Companies (MarketCos).
YOUR KEY MISSIONS
- GROW RTD SALES IN MATURE COUNTRIES
- Ensure proper commercial strategy execution in mature markets with an established Route-to-Market (e.g. Germany, South Africa)
- Proactively adjust plans depending on results and market evolution to maximize sustainable growth of the RTD business
- Ensure momentum on existing SKUs
- Compute Business Case for New Product Development, working together with RTD BU Finance team and MarketCo local teams
- Recommend and monitor portfolio allocation in Tier-2 markets (e.g. BeNeLux, Spain, etc.)
- Recommend and monitor SKUs allocation by Route-to-Market channel in all markets.
- ENSURE STRONG ENGAGEMENT OF LOCAL MARKETCO TEAMS
- Engage with the entire MarketCo Sales organization (from Sales Executives to Commercial Director) to ensure high level sponsorship and execution pace
- Speed-up decision making / problem solving for MarketCos through strong collaboration with RTD BU teams (e.g. operations, marketing, etc.) and MarketCo
- Be the first point of contact of MarketCos for commercial related matter
- Support the implementation of new capabilities needed to deliver the ambition.
- BE THE VOICE OF THE TRADE
- Provide continuous feedback to RTD BU on local needs and opportunities identification (e.g. successful new launches from competition, insights on liquid or packaging evolution, etc.)
- Continuously engage with retailers and consumers to ensure continuous feedback loop.
- MONITOR GLOBAL PERFORMANCE OF EMEA & LATAM MARKETS
- Closely monitor global commercial performance (Volume Rate of Sales, Value Market Share, Distribution, etc.)
- Lead Monthly Commercial Performance Reviews with MarketCos
- Direct management of 1 intern and 1 VIE.
- Strong influence of local RTD Sales resources
- Business travels to be expected: 50% of the time should be spent in market.

- 10-years’ experience in commercial leadership roles (channel management, account management, field execution) in the Beer, Soft Drinks or Energy Drinks industry
- Multi-market experience is a plus
- Strong influential skills and ability to engage with a wide range of senior stakeholders
- Ability to understand business end-to-end (Marketing, Ops, Finance, Legal) and work with dedicated teams to grow business
- Curiosity and creativity to turn challenges into business opportunity, identifying creative solutions and engaging teams on it
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Strong negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Proactivity in identifying market trends and quickly react
- You are fluent in English, French is a plus.
