This position sits in our Chivas Brothers business. At Chivas Brothers, our 1,600‑strong team across 27 sites is committed to upholding the heritage of Scotch and ensuring its sustainable future, as well as opening it up to new audiences across the globe.
Your mission: The Global Ambassador is the face of the brand who will live and breathe the brand, acting as a champion for the brand globally and propelling value growth for our portfolio. This will be achieved by marketing Pernod Ricard’s Gold BU portfolio to the highest standards to win the hearts and minds of consumers and customers all over the world, unlocking opportunities within the category.
- Build brands through advocacy, experiential programs, and digital amplification.
Your unique contribution:
- This role will focus on The Glenlivet and Abelour plus other single malts like Scapa, Longmorn and Dalmunach and our Irish Single Pot still brands Redbreast & Spot Whiskies.
- As the face of these brands, you will embody the brands among external audience during various types of events and develop your own external network of influence among bartenders, recruit new brand advocates, customers, clients, or industry specialists.
- Embody the brands in event and in content and build strong brand‑led digital and social media profile to engage with external audience.
- Develop and deliver best‑in‑class training, animate events, contribute to the advocacy strategy development and PR.
- Support brand strategy and market companies by actively engaging with diverse audience e.g. clients, customers; trade partners, press.
- Transmit passion, knowledge and discovery in the style of the brand during classes and events.
- Help to create exciting activation and content.
- You are digital savvy and able to adapt to your audiences to deliver engaging content.
- Drive brand education and mentoring: Inspire and educate the International Brand Ambassador on the brand, have a robust understanding of qualities/characteristics/heritage, equip them to conduct tastings/education for target groups of consumers/influencers.
- Brand Ambassador community management: animate the community monthly basis, create a strong sense of purpose and community behind the brand.
- Propose, propose and trial new brand initiatives, best practices sharing, brand and category updates etc.
Your blend of talent:
- Previous experience as a Brand Ambassador.
- Strong interpersonal skills and capability to engage with wide audience.
- Storytelling and communications skills.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines and spirits.
- Delivery of whiskey experiences or tastings is a bonus.
- Developed and deliver different events typology according to needs e.g. training, client or press tasting.
- Digital skills.
