The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.

Function: Global Marketing

Location: The Dalmore Distillery, Alness, IV17 0UT – Onsite

Contract: Part Time / Permanent – Monday to Friday, 08.30am – 11.30am (15 hours per week). Flexible approach to this pattern is required. Work in the evenings and at weekends will be mutually agreed in advance.

Reports to: Brand Home Manager

Role Overview

The Housekeeper will ensure that all front and back of house areas of the Private Experience are kept to impeccable standards of cleanliness. From pre and post‑visit cleaning of areas and on‑the‑spot cleaning during tour times, to ensuring washrooms and prep areas are immaculate at all times, the Housekeeper will be a key member in maintaining our reputation as a luxury brand. The Housekeeper will support the Host team with some of their duties when required. Tasks will include setting out glassware, preparation of simple food and drink, moving light furniture, preparing purchases, washing and polishing glassware, crockery & cutlery.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that front and back of house areas are immaculately clean as befitting of a luxury setting.
  • Adhere to The Dalmore Experience Housekeeping standard operating procedures at all times.
  • Order cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure everything required is always available.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.

Host Duties (only if members of staff unexpectedly unavailable and after training has been provided)

  • Assist with glassware and food & drink preparation.
  • Prepare and serve food and drinks.
  • Assist with gift wrapping or packaging.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience of cleaning in a luxury environment is desirable.
  • Experience of cleaning in industrial areas an advantage.
  • Experience of product ordering and control an advantage.
  • Knowledge of service, particularly 5‑star standard.
  • Fantastic attention to detail.
  • Flexible approach to working – occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
