We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and ambitious Night Housekeeping Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. The on target earning potential for this role is £31,943 per annum - comprising a base salary of £24,943, plus a qualified estimate of £7,000 in gratuities and service charge.

As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards. You’ll be working 32 hours per week, across 4 days on a rolling rota from 10.30pm to 7am.

Here’s a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:

  • Taking huge pride in ensuring the cleanliness, presentation and hygiene of public areas, reception, service areas, corridors and front and back of house are always achieved.
  • Replenishing all amenities in our public areas and bathrooms, making sure our guests have everything they need when visiting the Townhouse.
  • Servicing our guest bedrooms, dealing with any additional guest requirements through the night swiftly, professionally and always with great warmth and care.
  • Conducting a thorough handover with your colleagues at the end of each shift; reporting and following up on all maintenance required; ensuring all lost property is returned, following department procedure.
  • Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way.

The kind of person we’re looking for:

  • Ideally, you’ll have previous experience within a similar role though full training is offered; you’ll also be available to work a flexible schedule.
  • You’ll be required to complete standard forms to record events on a regular basis and interact with guests so a strong grasp of English language, both written and spoken, are essential; additional languages would also be beneficial.
  • Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand.
  • You have a positive "can do" attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner.
  • A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail.

Gratuities (tips) and service charge (an additional charge added to our room rates and services across the hotel that is passed directly to our employees) are paid on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role. It is estimated that in 2026, our full‑time employees can expect to receive around £7,000 in addition to their annual salary.
