The predicted salary is between 225 - 275 £ per hour.

We are currently seeking a compassionate, motivated and professional Lifeguard to join our wellness team. The on target earning potential for this role is £15.27 per hour - comprising a base hourly rate of £12.77, plus a qualified estimate of £2.50 per hour in gratuities and service charge.

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:

  • You’ll be responsible for the health and safety of all members and guests within our pool settings.
  • Enforcing pool policies and regulations, whilst effectively handling any challenging situations which may arise on poolside.
  • Responsible for maintaining and managing all pool areas, including daily Plantroom duties and pool tests; promptly reporting any maintenance required.
  • You’ll attend monthly training sessions to maintain your Lifeguard Qualification; attaining a safe working knowledge of all cleaning products and machinery.
  • Maintaining and replenishing all changing areas and gym facilities to Gleneagles standard.
  • You’ll build strong relationships with our members and guests, as well as working professionally with other departments and team members.
  • You may also assist with the setup, hosting and smooth running of Lawn Games and Tennis.
  • Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way.

  • You must hold a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).

About gratuities & service charge: Gratuities (tips) and service charge (an additional charge added to our room rates and services across the hotel that is passed directly to our employees) are paid on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role.
