Housekeeping Supervisor

We are currently seeking a driven, highly motivated and supremely organised Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure the highest standards and meticulous attention to detail are achieved throughout the Townhouse, a key member of our Housekeeping team.

The on target earning potential for this role is £38,616 per annum - comprising a base salary of £31,616 plus a qualified estimate of £7,000 in gratuities and service charge.

Here’s a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:

• You’ll assist, support and supervise your own mighty team of Housekeeping Attendants.
• Attending and participating in daily and monthly meetings for preparation, you’ll have a key role in the set up and service of the Townhouse, maintaining and continually improving our standards and the quality of our service, consistently exceeding our guest expectations.
• Ensuring operating costs are managed effectively, you’ll have responsibility for stock take completion and stock ordering in the most organised and efficient ways.
• Always warm and thoughtful, you and your team will make sure all customer requests and queries are responded to promptly, effectively and professionally.
• You’ll check all areas before, during and at the end of each shift, ensuring our sky-high standards are maintained; you’ll also carry out daily maintenance and cleanliness checks across all areas of both guest and colleague facing areas.
• Playing a key role in ensuring the motivation of our team, you’ll work with them, fully involved in their coaching, training and development.
• Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way.

The kind of person we're looking for:

• You have outstanding experience within a similar role, ideally within the Hospitality industry.
• Experience of ALICE and Opera, or similar front desk operating systems, would also be an advantage.
• Well organised, punctual and willing to work a flexible schedule, you’re approachable, helpful and self-motivated.
• Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand.
• You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner.
• A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail.

About gratuities & service charge: Gratuities (tips) and service charge (an additional charge added to our room rates and services across the hotel that is passed directly to our employees) are paid on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role. It is estimated that in 2026, our full-time employees can expect to receive around £7,000 in addition to their annual salary.
