We are seeking a creative, resourceful and team-oriented Chef de Partie to join our Staff Restaurant, and play a key part in ensuring all of our 1,300 people are well fed whilst they're at work. The on-target earning potential for this role is £18.41 per hour - comprising a base hourly rate of £15.91, plus a qualified estimate of £2.50 in gratuities and service charge.

  • Supporting our Head Chef on ideas and techniques that make our staff kitchen a creative, ever-changing environment where we’re always looking to come up with new, delicious combinations of taste.
  • Developing, with our Head Chef, a calendar of Culinary events using seasonal products to showcase innovation and fresh new offers including themed pop-ups; you’ll canvass views and seek to fulfil the most popular requests.
  • Interacting with your colleagues, always warm, professional, helpful and playing your part in making their visit to the Staff Restaurant 5 star in every way.
  • Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way.

The kind of person we're looking for:

  • Previous experience working as part of a fast-moving, quality-driven Culinary team, as either a Chef de Partie, Demi Chef de Partie or 1st Commis Chef; ideally, you’ve built your experience within the corporate dining sector or in good quality restaurants with tasty home-cooked food.
  • Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand.
  • You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner.
  • A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail.
  • You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way.
