We are currently seeking a warm, engaging and highly motivated Summer Reservations Agent to join our Gleneagles Reservations team. The aim of our Gleneagles Reservations team is to convert all potential business into guaranteed bookings whilst providing outstanding customer service. Youâll play a crucial part in making sure all of our guests arrive happy and well informed about our incredible estate; ensuring we consistently exceed the expectations of every guest.
The on target earning potential for this role is ÂŁ15.82 / per hour - comprising a base hourly rate of ÂŁ13.32, plus a qualified estimate of ÂŁ2.50 in gratuities and service charge. - Dealing directly with our guest enquiries, questions and reservations; warmly answering calls and providing the highest standard of customer service at all times.
- Ensuring all Forbes & Leading Quality Assessment telephone & reservation standards, and language requirements, are fully met, consistently and efficiently.
- Contributing fully to the teamâs targets to ensure sales forecasts are achieved, upselling the hotel bedrooms, our restaurants and variety of activities.
- Utilising our Property Management Systems to achieve the highest possible output and results.
- Liaising with your colleagues in the teams throughout the Estate to ensure fantastic teamwork, smooth communication and a superior service for our guests.
- Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations, playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way.
The kind of person we're looking for:
- You have fantastic luxury hotel experience within the Reservations/Sales/Front of House or Revenue Department, or are currently studying a Hospitality or related degree.
- Fully flexible across 7 days, including weekend and evening work, you're enthusiastic, confident and warm; you like working in an environment where things move and flex.
- Multi-tasking and expertly navigating a variety of systems are second nature to you.
- Youâre supremely reliable and like to ensure every job is completed to the highest standard consistently.
- You have excellent organisational skills, impeccable attention to detail and a fantastic ability to prioritise.
- Flexibility, adapting to changing demands and timescales, as well as using your initiative, are just some of your key skills.
- Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand.
