We are currently seeking a warm, charismatic and experienced Sporting Club Host to join our Country Pursuits division on a 12-Month fixed term contract in the newly created Gleneagles Sporting Club, a haven for those with a penchant for fast-paced racquet sports, challenging climbs and quintessential equestrianism. Located in what was formerly known as The Gleneagles Arena, The Sporting Club has been transformed into a fantastic sporting experience. We’ve created a new relaxing welcome lounge, where our members and guests can get ready for a variety of sporting experiences.
The on target earning potential for this role is £31,842 / annual salary - comprising a base salary of £26,842, plus a qualified estimate of £5,000 in gratuities and service charge. As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

- Warmly welcoming our guests to the Sporting Club, checking their bookings and ensuring they’re perfectly set to enjoy their activity, assisting with any additional requirements swiftly and professionally.
- Making bookings for our guests, sharing your knowledge of the range of activities on offer within the Leisure division, and making recommendations to suit their individual needs.
- You’ll be professionally completing end-of-day reports, finalising all cash transactions and closing down our reception.
- Taking responsibility for ensuring all guest enquiries; in person, via email, SMS, and on the telephone, are responded to warmly and efficiently, proactively following all Gleneagles and Forbes standards throughout each interaction, aiming to always exceed our guest expectations.
- Expertly handling group activity bookings as requested by Group Sales and Event Teams.
- Assisting with all Sporting Club membership enquiries such as email and telephone call bookings.
- Interacting with our members and guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way.
