We are delighted and honoured to be hosting The Senior Open Championship this July, so 2026 promises to be an exciting and highâprofile season for our Greenkeeping team. Building on our experience from hosting the Championship in 2022, youâll play a key role in presenting the course at its very best for one of golfâs most prestigious events. We are currently seeking driven, selfâmotivated Seasonal Greenkeepers, with outstanding attention to detail, to join our Golf Courses team between May to October 2026.
The on target earning potential for this role is ÂŁ15.49 / per hour - comprising a base hourly rate of ÂŁ12.99, plus a qualified estimate of ÂŁ2.50 per hour in gratuities and service charge.

- Youâll be a key part of the team, working flexibly and assisting with the daily set up of machinery.
- Using your eagle eye for detail youâll make sure our morning golf course set up is consistently of the highest standard.
- Youâll maintain a sound knowledge of all operating golf course maintenance equipment and the SOPs for the department.
- Monitoring and maintaining health, safety and security in the workplace at all times.
- Proactively identifying areas of our golf courses requiring attention and highlighting this to the senior team.
- Assisting with the preparation of machinery for use and storage; undertaking routine machine maintenance.
- Maintaining an awareness and understanding of the rules of golf relating to golf course maintenance and modern greenkeeping practices, along with new developments within the industry.
- Using our John Deere OnLink system for daily scheduling, utilising this fully as part of your daily routine when starting and finishing tasks.
- Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way.

- You have a full UK driver's license.
- You learn quickly, and youâre keen to build your knowledge of the plant machinery used for each greenkeeping task.
- Already conversant with the relevant Health and Safety regulations, you understand the importance of our full compliance and care in this area.
