We are currently seeking an experienced, passionate and creative
Interior Gardener to join our Floristry team.
The on target earning potential for this role is £33,387 / per annum based on a 39 hour contract - comprising a base salary of £28,387, plus a qualified estimate of £5,000 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role
- Using your experience, creativity and imagination, you’ll ensure a stunning array of plants in all of our indoor areas across the estate
- Daily, you’ll care for and maintain all of our plants in all inside hotel areas, including all the bedrooms, checking their positions, watering and dusting
- You’ll make sure all our plants remain in full health and beautiful condition, identifying the causes of poor presentation, pests, diseases etc; treating these and replacing when required
- Working with our Marketing and Design teams to fully understand and provide for their particular interior plant requirements
- Collaborating and communicating daily with our Floristry team; creating together bespoke features and arrangements
- Devising and producing planting plans with the Head of Floristry to ensure our presentation is spectacular all year round
- Collaborating with colleagues within Floristry and across the estate to cultivate a functioning greenhouse which produces plants for internal & external use
- Using your skill and experience, you’ll also support our Florist Assistants and Florists with educating them further on plant species, habitats and nurturing
- Compiling reports on the performance and condition of the areas you look after; proactively devising methods for improvement and implementing these in liaison with our Head of Floristry and Executive Housekeeper
- Continual checking of Braids Balcony plants and replacing when required, adhering to Brand design
- Following, at all times, Health & Safety regulations and ensuring your working areas are maintained to the highest possible standards
- Interacting with our guests, sharing your knowledge and experience, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations, playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way
The kind of person we're looking for
- You have, as a minimum, NVQ Level 3 in Horticulture, with relevant knowledge and practical experience including greenhouse knowledge and plant production
- You have a full driving license, essential for this role.
- You’re keen to progress, ready to work hard and grasp the opportunities on offer working in this incredible, world class Florist team
- You're highly motivated and possess an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
- You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
- You're a strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
