We are seeking an experienced, creative, and ambitious Chef de Partie to join our Pastry Nights Culinary team. At Gleneagles, we pride ourselves on delivering extraordinary culinary experiences for our guests. From elegant afternoon teas and indulgent desserts in our restaurants, to show-stopping creations for weddings, celebrations, and events, our Pastry team plays a starring role in creating unforgettable moments.

The on target earning potential for this role is ÂŁ41,956 per annum, comprising of a base salary of ÂŁ36,956, plus a qualified estimate of ÂŁ5,000 gratuities per annum. As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

This opportunity is a 46 hour contract to assist our Night team with bakery goods, breads and viennoiserie: normal working hours are 21:30-07:00, 5 days over 7.

  • Using your Pastry expertise and creative flair, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our Pastry Kitchen continues to excel, producing the most imaginative, innovative, and inspirational sweet creations that Gleneagles is renowned for.
  • From designing and delivering bespoke pastries, breads, desserts, and showpieces, to crafting delicate afternoon tea treats that delight our guests, you’ll take ownership of a section in our busy Pastry kitchen, ensuring every item meets the highest standards of taste, presentation, and consistency.
  • You’ll keep the operation running smoothly; managing orders and deliveries with precision, maintaining impeccable food hygiene standards, and ensuring service flows seamlessly no matter how busy we are.
  • Collaboration is at the heart of what we do: you’ll work closely with our Head Pastry Chef and Sous Chef, sharing ideas, experimenting with techniques, and contributing to a culture where creativity thrives and innovation is always encouraged.
  • Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way.

  • You’ll bring 3–5 years of proven Pastry experience within a fast-moving, quality-driven culinary environment, ideally at Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie level.
  • A genuine passion for Pastry is a given, you’ve dedicated yourself to perfecting your craft and take pride in producing creations that are as beautiful to look at as they are delicious to taste.
  • You’re hungry to keep learning, developing, and innovating, drawing inspiration from our talented team of chefs and bringing your own ideas to the table.
