We are currently seeking a confident, attentive and supremely professional Chauffeur Driver, who will bring outstanding experience in order to deliver luxury service to our guests. The on target earning potential for this role is £14.77 / hour - comprising a base rate of £12.27, plus a qualified estimate of £2.50 in gratuities and service charge.

As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards. You’ll be working a minimum of 8 hours per week across Saturdays or Sundays.

Here’s a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:

  • Ensuring our guests are met at the designated pick up point, in a professional and efficient manner, with smooth, slick collection and safe transfer of luggage.
  • Supporting our Assistant Front of House Managers in scheduling vehicles for routine maintenance.
  • Prioritising guest safety and comfort, always driving our vehicles in the required manner, ensuring all due care is taken, adhering to all relevant legislation and guidance.
  • Taking great pride in the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of our vehicles, reporting any faults to the Chauffeur manager immediately.
  • Maximising hotel revenues and services to guests by being fully up to date and conversant with all of our incredible facilities across the estate and actively promote these.
  • Supporting our Front Door operations, warmly greeting guests to the hotel and moving luggage from roadside to storage rooms.
  • Building strong working relationships with your team members, ensuring an effective and efficient handover of any outstanding business to the next team.
  • Ensuring great organisation of the hotel’s main drive; ensuring vehicles are parked safely and securely.
  • Maintaining our vehicles; checking oil, water, tyres, and fuel prior to use.
  • Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way.

  • Ideally, you’re currently established or have strong experience in a similar role, with a full driving licence.
  • Your attitude and approach are always fresh; no matter how many times an issue has been presented to you, to your guest it’s the first time.
  • Intuitively, you read people, anticipating, and fulfilling the expectations of our guests; always warm, thoughtful, professional, and well groomed, you’ll play your part in ensuring luxury service is our signature.
  • You greet each guest warmly by name, taking time to really listen and understand their individual needs, always exceeding their expectations.
  • Taking great pride in all that you do, you know your contribution is critical for both our guest and your team member experiences; you’re reliable and seek to consistently complete any task to the highest of standards and efficiently.
  • You maintain a high standard of personal presentation through very particular grooming, presenting a professional and organised working environment at all times.
  • You’ll be an early bird some days and a night owl other, working flexibly during weekends.
  • Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand.
