We are currently seeking a warm, intuitive and engaging Afternoon Tea Waiter to join our Glendevon team. The on target earning potential for this role is £16.94 per hour - comprising a base hourly rate of £12.84, plus a qualified estimate of £4.10 per hour in gratuities and service charge.

As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards. Your working pattern will be 30 hours per week, across our 4 service days; Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The start of shift may vary slightly depending on breakfast demands, however finish will remain consistent at 6pm.

  • Delivering a warm, thoughtful and memorable Afternoon Tea experience, creating special moments for every guest and ensuring each visit reflects the exceptional standards for which Gleneagles is renowned.
  • Supporting our breakfast operation before seamlessly transitioning the Glendevon Lounge for Afternoon Tea service, preparing the space to the highest standards and providing attentive, personalised service throughout.
  • Confidently responding to guest requests and enquiries, anticipating needs and ensuring every interaction is welcoming, genuine and professional.
  • Maintaining impeccable standards of presentation across the Glendevon Lounge, ensuring all service areas, tables and guest-facing spaces are beautifully prepared and consistently reflect our luxury environment.
  • Playing an integral role in the smooth day-to-day operation of the Lounge, working closely with colleagues to ensure service flows effortlessly and guests enjoy a seamless and enjoyable experience from arrival through to departure.
  • Developing a strong knowledge of our Afternoon Tea offering, including our menus, teas, beverages and seasonal experiences, enabling you to make recommendations and create meaningful connections with our guests.
  • Taking pride in continuously enhancing the guest experience by identifying opportunities to elevate service, sharing ideas with the team and contributing to a culture of excellence, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way.
