The Role of a Maintenance Manager As the Hotel Maintenance Manager, you will report to the General Manager and will be responsible for ensuring that all appropriate preventative and reactive maintenance work is carried out by you and your team within a reasonable time frame in a busy environment ensuring the least amount of disruption to guests and colleagues.
Duties will include: Full and accurate completion of all maintenance logs.
Carry out daily planned maintenance routines and health and safety audits.
Carry out all general maintenance repairs in relation to buildings on a wide range of systems.
Ensure there are adequate supplies of spares on site for commonly used parts or those with a long lead time.
Contact external contractors as required, liaise with contractors, and ensure work is completed to a satisfactory standard and on time.
Manage a small team of engineers (workload, training, rota, holidays).
Any other reasonable duties or project work which may be required by management from time to time.
To be successful you will have a can-do approach with a strong attention to detail and good attitude towards your work.
Ideally you will have at least 2 years relevant experience in a similar role.
