The Glasgow School of Art (GSA) is a world leading, independent, university-level institution for the visual creative disciplines. We attract some of the finest academic and creative talent and are committed to creating and sustaining learning and working environments, where difference is respected and the widest possible range of cultural and social perspectives are valued.

Applications are invited for a Student Consultant (Education Enhancement) within the Learning and Teaching Team / Academic Quality Office.

This is an opportunity for a current GSA student to bring an authentic student perspective to two important areas of work: preparations for GSA’s Tertiary Quality Enhancement Review (TQER), an external review of the School’s quality arrangements, and the evaluation of GSA’s Education Strategy. The postholder will help shape how students are consulted and ensure student experiences and insights inform enhancement activity.

Working with colleagues across GSA, you will help develop and coordinate enhancement projects, design and facilitate engaging workshops and consultation activities with students and staff, and contribute to the TQER Leadership Group. You will also support the collection and analysis of consultation findings, reporting to committees and working groups, and desk-based research to inform guidance and resources.

We are looking for someone who can work collaboratively while taking initiative, organise varied tasks and meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with different audiences. You will have experience of desk-based research, event management and working as part of a team. Experience of project delivery, data analysis, report writing or facilitating interviews, focus groups or workshops would be an advantage.

Applicants must be current, matriculated students at The Glasgow School of Art at both the start and end of the 16-month fixed-term appointment.

Closing date for submission of completed applications: 2nd November 2026

Interviews for this post will take place: w/c 17th November 2026
