Role Description
This is a part-time role for a Self-employed Tour Guide at The Glasgow Food and Drink Tour. The Tour Guide will lead guided tours, communicate with guests, provide exceptional customer service and share insights into the history of Glasgow.
Qualifications
- Guided Tours and History skills
- Ideally local to Glasgow
- Communication and Customer Service skills
- Ability to engage and entertain a diverse group of guests
- Knowledge of Glasgow\’s food and drink scene is a plus
- Comfortable speaking in public and leading groups
- Enthusiastic and engaging personality
- Must be available for Wednesday, Saturday and potentially weekday evening tours
Training
- Must be available to start training in March
- Training will be a mix of shadowing and taking tours with guide support
