The Glasgow Academy is a high-achieving co-educational independent day school for children aged 3-18. Founded in 1845, we pride ourselves on the all-round education, first-class facilities and exceptional opportunities our pupils enjoy. The Post

We are seeking a Prep School Classroom Assistant for our Kelvinbridge campus. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, motivated and reliable individual, able to work as part of a competent, confident workforce capable of delivering services in a constantly changing and evolving educational environment with a commitment to developing a culture of learning within the Prep School.

Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils’ learning both in and out of the classroom to complement the work set by the teachers.
  • Provide playground supervision.
  • Prepare teaching materials.
  • Help create and maintain a stimulating and varied visual environment within the school.

Remuneration and Hours

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 3.00pm. The closing date for applications is 4pm on Monday 22 September 2025. Interviews are expected to take place soon after.
