Job information Part time Hotel Receptionist from the Company The George Hotel Norwich, located in the city Norwich in the country United Kingdom . This job opening requires a candidate with a GCSE education.Job Responsibility:
We are looking for a fully experienced receptionist to cover between 2 to 4 shifts per week (approximately 16 - 32 hours ). Shifts are from 7am till 3pm or 3pm till 11pm.Responsibilities include:
- Meeting, greeting and checking guests in and out of the hotel on our guestline system
- Attending to the needs of guests, to ensure a superb customer service experience.
- Building a good rapport with all guests and resolving any minor complaints/issues quickly to maintain high quality customer service
- Being responsible for accurate and efficient guest billing processes during your shift
- Undertaking general office duties, including correspondence, emails, filing and switchboard.
- Administering all routes of reservations to ensure that room bookings are made and recorded accurately.
- Ensuring that all reservations and cancellations are processed efficiently during your shift
- Keeping up to date with room prices and special offers to provide accurate information to guests.
- Reporting any maintenance, breakage or cleanliness problems to the maintenance team and housekeeping manager.
- Administering the general petty cash system and float in an accurate manner.
- Undertaking all training as required (e.g., first aid, health and safety, customer service).
- Adhering to all fire safety test procedures and assisting in the evacuation process in the event of fire.
