The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Level 1 Systems Support

Full Time salary $86,112.00 per annum, plus superannuation

Demonstrated experience across multiple computer networks and systems

Skilled at providing IT support across an organization and liaising with company stakeholders

About the Role

The IT Administrator at Fulham is responsible for the day-to-day support and maintenance of the IT systems and applications used throughout the Prison. Including but not limited to collaborating on projects relating to GEO’s IT systems.

You will also provide support on an ad hoc basis to GEO partners, stakeholders and other Centres.

This in an on-site only position at Fulham Correctional Centre.

Key Accountabilities

IT Support

  • Provide first and second level support to staff, prisoners and other stakeholders for all GEO IT networks, systems, and applications, including liaising with third-party providers when required.
  • Provide afterhours support for high-priority issues (roster)
  • Use and maintain the IT Service Desk ticketing system, planning, and prioritizing systematically to minimize backlog and ensure operational efficiency.
  • IT Network and Systems Maintenance

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure, including staff PCs, networking equipment, printers, desk phones & video conferencing equipment.
  • Monitor performance of GEO systems, ensuring issues are appropriately escalated and resolved.
  • Ensure system and data security is maintained in compliance with GEO Policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and develop excellent working relationships with key suppliers.
  • IT Projects

    Provide technical assistance to project teams and undertake technical project roles when required, supporting the roll-out of new applications and solutions.

    Essential :

  • A combination of relevant experience or education/training in a corporate IT support position, including but not limited to first level IT Support and IT systems.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality whilst working with sensitive and personal information
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work productively with diverse stakeholders
  • Exceptional time management, organisational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to achieve outcomes within agreed timeframes and under time pressures.
  • Exceptional multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated experience administering Local Area Networks, including virtual Lan (VLAN).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Office 365 in a hybrid configuration.
  • Desirable :

  • Ability to interpret and comply with data and network security principles in accordance with the Australian Government’s Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF). Including but not limited to Information Security Manual (ISM) and classified networks.
  • Basic PowerShell scripting for AD tasks.
  • Experience with the following :

  • Cisco network and video conferencing equipment
  • AS400 systems
  • Microsoft SQL
  • Microsoft SharePoint
  • Manage Engine Service Desk & Endpoint Central
  • Audio Visual equipment
  • Biometric identification technologies
  • Citrix published desktop and published applications
  • Other Requirements of the Role

  • Ability to work within a correctional setting, which will involve direct contact with prisoners.
  • Valid and current full Australian driver’s license.
  • Satisfactory completion of a National Criminal History Check.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Work outside of ordinary business hours may be required on occasion.
