We have an exciting opportunity for a Stock Manager to take ownership of how stock moves through our warehouse - from goods-in right through to picking and dispatch. In this role, you’ll lead stock operations end-to-end, ensuring everything is accurate, efficient, and set up to support the pace of the business. You’ll play a key part in shaping how we manage inventory, driving improvements in stock flow, layout, and systems, while leading and developing a high-performing team. This is a hands-on role with real impact, balancing day-to-day operational delivery with longer-term thinking to optimise performance, reduce waste, and support growth.

Please note this is a full-time position Monday-Friday 8am-4pm in our Shoreham-by-Sea Warehouse.

Your role:

  • Lead the end-to-end management of stock within the warehouse, from goods-in through to replenishment of stock for our packing teams.
  • Develop and execute strategies to optimise stock levels, layout and location accuracy, improving inventory turnover while minimising waste.
  • Manage and develop the stock team of three, setting clear standards and driving performance.
  • Monitor stock accuracy, investigate issues and make improvements to reduce errors.
  • Oversee stock counts and checks, resolving discrepancies and keeping records accurate.
  • Work cross-functionally with warehouse, purchasing and customer teams to resolve stock challenges.
  • Coordinate with logistics and freight partners to ensure timely and accurate inbound deliveries.
  • Oversee WMS systems (including NetSuite) to manage inventory, stock movements and reporting.

About you:

  • You’ll have experience managing stock in a fast-paced warehouse and be someone who takes real pride in keeping things organised, accurate and running smoothly.
  • You’re a hands-on leader who supports your team, sets clear expectations and isn’t afraid to step in when needed.
  • Previous experience managing stock or inventory within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Strong understanding of stock control, including stock accuracy, audits and discrepancy investigation.
  • Experience leading and developing a team, with the ability to set clear expectations and drive performance.
  • Confident using warehouse management systems (WMS), ideally with experience of NetSuite.
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and keep operations running smoothly.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the confidence to take ownership and make improvements.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and maintaining high standards.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and communicating effectively with different teams.
