The Gate Charity Shop in Alloa is seeking a Senior Shop Manager to bring specialist retail expertise, drive income growth, and lead our volunteer team. This senior position goes beyond traditional shop management, focusing on strategic operations, specialist selling, marketing, and volunteer development. You’ll work alongside our current shop manager to maximise performance, improve income, and strengthen the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day‑to‑day shop operations, maintaining high standards in presentation, merchandising, and stock management.
- Drive income growth through selling, including alternative channels like online or local events.
- Promote the shop via social media, local networks, and community engagement initiatives.
- Lead, motivate, and develop volunteers, providing guidance to support their growth.
