Summary
We are seeking a friendly and proactive Shop Assistant to join our team at one of our charity shops in the UK. This role is vital in helping us provide excellent service to our community and support our charitable mission. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer service and eager to contribute to a positive environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Restock shelves and ensure products are attractively displayed.
- Provide information about our charity\’s work to interested customers.
- Support with administrative tasks as needed.
- Promote a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
About You
- Proven experience in customer service or retail.
- Comfortable handling cash and using a till (training provided)
- Friendly, approachable, and able to work well within a team.
- Reliable with good organizational skills.
- Passionate about supporting charitable causes.
- Happy to be on their feet and help with general shop tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
Hours
- Saturdays only
