As a Landscaper at The Garden Builders, you will complete individual tasks as instructed by the Foreman and be an integral part of creating beautiful residential and commercial gardens across London and the home counties. You will have access to the plan and the ability to make an impact on each project by ensuring individual tasks are completed on time and to a high standard. You will work across a wide range of projects primarily focused on hard landscaping.
Requirements:
- Pictures of work you have completed and projects that you have been part of (Dropbox, Google Drive or similar please)
- 3+ years across paving, decking, cladding, turfing, fencing and general carpentry
- At least 1 year of having an assistant or labourer working with you (e.g. mixing while you pave)
- Ability to work to a detailed plan and complete tasks in line with the work schedule
- Good communication skills across team members, external trades, clients and designers
- Able to maintain a safe and clean working environment as per company policies and safety procedures on site
- Ensuring material waste onsite is kept to a minimum
- Maintain in good and safe working order all tools, vehicles, plant, equipment and machinery on site
Desirable:
- Good level of spoken English
- UK Driving License
- CSCS Card
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
- Ability to be flexible and maintain a positive approach when challenges arise
