Position Multiskilled Engineer; Location: Northwich; Schedule: Continental Days & Nights (2 days / 2 nights / 4 off); Salary: £58,000 + Overtime
What you will contribute
- To ensure delivery of the Engineering support to the Northwich site across 24/7 enabling the Engineering team to provide the required levels of service in support of the manufacturing strategy.
- To ensure the safe, effective and efficient running of the department is maintained through the engineering shift teams.
- To ensure daily workloads are prioritised and delivered in compliance to site policies and procedures.
- Co-ordinate and prioritise the activities of a shift engineering team in providing support to the operations team.
- Operate as senior engineering point of contact for Shift Managers.
- Support Short Interval Control, and daily endo of shift review meetings with Shift Managers.
- Participate in Improvement Groups e.g. wastage reduction.
- Complete a clear and comprehensive handover to incoming shift engineering team.
What you will bring
- A fully qualified Multiskilled Engineer with at least 5 years experience
- Apprenticeship trained
- Minimum BTEC ONC/ Level 3 Qualified
- Must be electrically qualified with certification
- Experienced in leading a team
- An excellent communicator with the ability to coach and support others
- FMCG experienced, preferably food industry
- Comfortable working both in a team and alone
