Responsibilities

  • Selling u PVC building products to UK housebuilders and other construction sectors.
  • Account managing an existing customer portfolio to ensure consistent spend.
  • Utilising Linked In and other social platforms to identify potential leads, build relationships and sell.
  • Identifying opportunities from various paid lead generation platforms for the construction industry.
  • Contacting prospective customers via telephone and e-mail to win new business.
  • Converting leads or prospects into sales and revenue.
  • Consistent follow up on customer quotes issued to optimise quote conversion.
  • Meeting with existing and prospective customers over Microsoft Teams.
  • Ensuring all relevant communications, records and data are updated and recorded in Salesforce CRM.
  • Working with other internal teams to help ensure that any customer issues are resolved promptly and to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting weekly goals, objectives and achievements to management.
  • Working towards achieving company KPI's and sales targets.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of company and industry developments.
  • Building lasting relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Managing own workload and time to meet the customer's requirements.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven track record in B2B or B2C sales, account management or business development.
  • \"Can do\" attitude with a drive to succeed.
  • Preferred technical knowledge of UPVC products (fascia, soffits, windows and doors).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional manner.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities concurrently.
  • Proficient with CRM systems, Microsoft Office and basic IT tools.
  • Good numeracy skills for preparing quotes and managing pricing information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team, prioritising tasks to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Organised, proactive and resilient with a customer-focused approach.
  • Full UK driving licence may be required for customer visits (dependent on location).
