Lead the operation. Shape what’s next. We’re looking for a Hotel Manager to help lead the next phase of The Gantry. This is a role for someone who thrives in fast-moving hotels, builds strong teams and knows how to bring energy, structure and accountability to an operation that is evolving quickly.

Working closely with the General Manager, this role will lead the day-to-day operation of the hotel — bringing energy, structure and consistency across guest experience, rooms operations and Heart of House delivery.

The Role

  • Oversee the operational performance of the hotel, ensuring standards remain high, teams feel supported and the guest experience is delivered with confidence and consistency.
  • Lead the day-to-day hotel operation across guest experience and operational departments.
  • Build, develop and mentor high-performing teams.
  • Drive accountability, structure and consistency across the operation.
  • Support service standards, guest feedback and operational performance.
  • Work closely with F&B, Commercial and Revenue teams to deliver a joined-up guest experience.
  • Lead rota management, payroll control and labour productivity.
  • Support the continued evolution of the hotel, including meeting spaces and guest experience initiatives.
  • Act as a senior operational leader and ambassador for The Gantry culture and standards.

About You

You’re already operating within a busy hotel environment and understand how to balance people, standards and commercial performance. You are:

  • An experienced operational leader within a lifestyle or upscale hotel environment.
  • Comfortable leading large teams within a fast-moving operation.
  • Calm under pressure and confident making decisions.
  • Strong with people — able to develop, challenge and motivate teams.
  • Commercially aware, with a strong understanding of labour control and operational efficiency.
  • Focused on detail, consistency and creating a confident guest experience.
