Experienced Chef/Cook required for busy riverside pub. The ideal applicant will be able to assist in the preparation & cooking of food in a busy kitchen, manage their time effectively, ensuring the kitchen is kept clean, hygienic & organized as part of a small team. Ability to work under pressure, to a high standard & alongside passionate colleagues is essential.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing & cooking food to a high standard
- Ensuring that work is performed to a high level of hygiene & work areas are left clean and tidy at end of shifts
- Assisting other chefs with the smooth running of the kitchen & services
Food Safety Qualifications an advantage, but training can be given. 5 out of 7 days, this will include weekends & evenings (approx. 35 - 45 hours but this can vary in busy & quiet seasons). Pay negotiable depending on experience. Relevant NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or similar qualification) would be preferable, but relevant experience will be considered.
This is a permanent position, with an immediate start. PLEASE NOTE: we are unable to offer live in positions.
