This is more than a teaching role, it’s an opportunity to make a lasting difference to children who need it most. As an SEMH Teacher within the Specialist Resource Provision, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, tailored learning that meets the needs of pupils with SEMH and SEND
  • Create a calm, structured, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and understood
  • Support pupils' academic progress alongside their emotional wellbeing, communication, and independence
  • Use creative, practical, and multi-sensory approaches to bring learning to life
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, the SENDCo, and external professionals to provide holistic support
  • Play a key role in helping pupils reintegrate into mainstream learning where appropriate

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on challenge, brings energy and creativity, and understands that progress looks different for every child. We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS and has experience in primary or early years education
  • Has experience supporting pupils with SEND, particularly SEMH
