We\\\'re a small, growing charity looking for a volunteer with bookkeeping or finance experience to support our financial administration. This is a light-touch role with low transaction volumes, ideal if you enjoy using your skills to make a practical difference and help us run more efficiently.

Your support will be critical in helping to ensure our finances are accurate and compliant, helping us make better decisions. You\\\'ll also help us maximise our income through GiftAid submissions.
What are we looking for?
- Experience using Xero
- Confidence in reviewing and correcting transaction coding
- Understanding of Gift Aid and charity finance requirements - or a growth mindset and willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail and an organised, practical approach
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly
- Previous charity or not-for-profit experience is welcome but not essential
What will you be doing?
- Reconcile monthly transactions in Xero (approx. 20 transactions pm)
- Check income and expenditure are coded correctly in Xero and align with charity reporting requirements
- Review and reconcile JustGiving donation reports (approx. 3 reports pm)
- Prepare and submit Gift Aid claims to HMRC (one submission every 3 months)
- Help ensure our financial records are accurate & well organised
- Suggest simple improvements to support efficient working
