Location: East & North London (venues across Hackney and Haringey) + hybrid
FunnClubb is at a turning point. We've spent 8 years running funn classes for kids in East London; now we're building the engine to scale it across London.
The backend of the business (Milanote, spreadsheets, rotas) matters, but the park is our stage. We're looking for someone who is a Natural with children: infectious energy, makes every child feel like a star, and commands the pitch with a smile. We can teach you the systems. We can't teach you how to be the life of the party.
The Hours — Term Time, 40h p/w (Wednesday–Sunday)
- Wednesday: 09:00–17:00 (WFH). Deep work — rota management and Milanote organisation.
- Thursday & Friday: 10:00–18:00 (Hybrid). Morning ops, then on-site coaching & Quality Control (16:00–18:00).
- Saturday & Sunday: 08:00–17:00 (On-site). Prime time, leading sessions, greeting parents, keeping the FunnClubb vibe alive.
- Mondays and Tuesdays are your weekend.
Essential, please don't apply without this:
- A full UK driving licence AND your own reliable vehicle with enough boot space to transport sports equipment (goals, bags, cones, kit etc) between 2 parks on the same day. This is central to the role, our sessions run across multiple venues and the kit moves with you.
- Availability every session (Saturdays and Sundays are our busiest, non-negotiable days).
- An Enhanced DBS (with children's barred-list check) — held already, or a willingness to obtain one before starting.
- The right to work in the UK.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead Coaching: be the gold-standard coach other staff look up to. High energy, high fun, high safety.
- Operations: full ownership of coaching rotas and 100% session coverage.
- Milanote / Class4Kids Ops: run our "Ops OS" to keep us paperless and organised (full training provided).
- Quality Guarding: walk the pitches so every session feels like a FunnClubb session.
- Transport & Setup: get the kit to each venue, set up the zone, lead the session, pack down and leave no trace.
Who You Are
- The Bubbly Leader: a background in coaching, kids' entertainment or performance. Loud, energetic, kids gravitate to you.
- Willing to Learn: not a tech genius yet, but ready to master Class4Kids/Milanote with the same energy you bring to the pitch.
- The Fixer: you see a problem, a missing bib, a late coach, a confused parent, and you fix it, without being asked.
- Trustworthy & Reliable: your reliability is your reputation. If you say you'll be there, you're there, early, every time.
