About the role
FunnClubb is at a turning point. Eight years running fun football sessions for East London kids, now we’re building the engine to scale across the city, and we need someone to lead it on the ground.
The backend matters (rotas, Milanote, Class4Kids), but the park is our stage. We want a natural with kids: infectious energy, makes every child feel like a star, and owns the pitch with a smile. We can teach you the systems, we can’t teach you how to be the life of the party.
This is a role to make your own. As you grow the club, your earnings grow with it.
The hours. 40h/week, Wed–Sun (Mon & Tue off)
- Wed — 9–5, from home. Rotas and admin.
- Thu & Fri — 10–6, hybrid. Ops in the morning, coaching and quality checks after school.
- Sat & Sun — 8–5, on-site. Prime time: leading sessions, greeting parents, keeping the FunnClubb vibe alive.
- School holidays — daytime camps, 8–6 on weekdays; you lead and run them.
Essential — please don’t apply without these
- Full UK driving licence + your own reliable vehicle with boot space for kit (goals, cones, balls, bags). Sessions move between parks and the kit moves with you, this is central to the role.
- Enhanced DBS (child barred-list) — already held, or willing to get one before starting.
- Right to work in the UK.
What you’ll do
- Coach — be the gold-standard: high energy, high fun, high safety.
- Run the operation — own the coaching rotas and 100% session coverage.
- Build the club — grow membership across our venues (and grow your pay with it).
- Manage the systems — Milanote and Class4Kids, kept paperless (full training given).
- Set up & transport — kit to the park, zone set up, session led, packed down, no trace left.

- A natural with kids — from coaching, sport or kids’ entertainment. Loud, warm, energetic; children gravitate to you.
- Reliable — if you say you’ll be there, you’re there, early, every time.
- A fixer — you spot the missing bib, the late coach, the lost parent, and sort it without being asked.
- Up for learning — ready to master our systems with the same energy you bring to the pitch.
