Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Sales in leading and guiding the sales team to achieve the hotel’s sales objectives and revenue targets.
- Assist in the development and implementation of room sales and marketing plans, policies, and procedures.
- Evaluate the hotel’s participation across various sales channels and build strong working relationships to proactively position and market the hotel.
- Develop and execute both short-term and long-term sales strategies to achieve revenue and room night targets, including monitoring performance and adjusting tactics as needed.
- Provide market intelligence on booking trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities.
- Closely monitor competitor developments to stay informed of market dynamics.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and tourism organizations that add value to the business.
- Propose and develop promotional materials for sales calls, trade shows, and other marketing activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, sales, marketing or related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferably with exposure working in 5-star hotel.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in both oral and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Demonstrated leadership competencies.
- A self-starter who is highly driven, goal-oriented and adaptable to change.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills, influencing skills and networking abilities.
