Business Development Executive – Allstar Business Solutions

We are looking for a Business Development Executive in our Fuel & Fleet Payments line of business, based in the Knaresborough office in North Yorkshire. This permanent, full‑time role requires an individual to grow Allstar's commercial presence by bringing in new business partners and prospecting, selling, and onboarding new clients.

How We Work

As a Business Development Executive, you will be based in our Knaresborough office, initially 5 days per week, with the option to work hybrid after training. Business operating hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm. Corpay will set you up for success by providing an assigned workspace, both office and home office set‑up, company‑issued equipment, and formal, hands‑on training.

Role Responsibilities

  • Sales – Achieve both individual revenue and sales targets by selling our EV charging solutions to medium to large fleet customers.
  • Reviewing and planning – Conduct regular commercial reviews of the sales pipeline to identify opportunities and risks, and develop specific strategies and action plans.
  • Consulting – Provide a professional service that reflects our core values and offers the most effective solution for customers’ explicit needs.
  • Continuous self‑improvement – Commit to training opportunities, gain a thorough understanding of all products, processes and services, and network effectively across channels.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in telesales or a similar sales role; experience in SaaS sales is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong persuasive and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish long‑term relationships with customers.
  • Self‑motivated, target‑driven and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficient with CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
  • High resilience and ability to handle rejection.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
