The Frying Squad is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Counter Assistant to join our team. As a Counter Assistant, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that our customers have an enjoyable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, processing payments, and serving food to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and take their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have.
  • Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system and process payments.
  • Serve food and drinks to customers in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Ensure that the dining area is clean and organised at all times.
  • Assist in preparing food.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and colleagues.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Assist with other duties as required, such as cleaning or restocking supplies.
