Fresh are on the lookout for a Copywriter to join the busy content & comms team and work across a range of event and comms projects. Fresh is on the hunt for a highly organised and enthusiastic Copywriter!
We’re looking for someone who has experience writing for a range of different formats and adapting your style to different outputs, whether that’s comms, creative, film or marketing. If you’re a confident communicator who’s comfortable presenting to clients, taking feedback, and working collaboratively and autonomously, then this role could be for you.
The successful candidate will ideally:
- Have 2+ years experience copywriting within an agency
- Be versatile in style, format, tone of voice and channel
- Demonstrate their ability and experience of writing for internal comms projects
- Demonstrate their ability and experience of writing film treatments and scripts
- Have exceptional organisational skills, work prioritisation, time management and attention to detail
- Be passionate and love taking on a challenge
- Be a real team player with a positive, can-do attitude, always striving for more
- Have a willingness to learn but also a desire to be accountable
- Be able to work under pressure and at pace
- Have great written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Be willing to work to our hybrid model of a minimum of 3 days a week in our Manchester city centre office
Core tasks:
- Creating copy for client projects, backed up by appropriate level of research and discovery to ensure that work is accurate and relevant to clients and any current industry climate
- Creating copy for agency needs, including pitches, press releases, award submissions, case studies and social media posts
- Playing a key supporting role in working with other creative team members to ensure copy is relevant to other work (eg design/film)
- Attending client calls and/or taking amends from client and internal teams and actioning them quickly and intelligently
- Provide accurate proof reading for any agency need, ensuring good use of spelling, punctuation and grammar and making amends as necessary without the need for authorisation
- Supporting with proposal creation and idea development
