PhD: CRISPR Screen for Robustness in Eye Development

Full-Time On-site
T

The Francis Crick Institute is offering a Crick PhD project in Wilson Lab that investigates how variability in developmental robustness shapes the severity of congenital eye defects. The project centres on zebrafish eye morphogenesis, Yap signaling, and extracellular matrix interactions during optic vesicle formation.

You will employ high-resolution 4D imaging and CRISPR-based genetic screens to identify modifiers of penetrance and test how robustness influences eye development in both eyes.
