Dynamic Tissue Patterning: Theory & Computation

Full-Time On-site

The Francis Crick Institute in London hosts a Crick PhD project led by Zena Hadjivasiliou, focusing on patterning in dynamic environments. The project aims to build theoretical models that couple tissue dynamics with morphogen signalling, guided by experimental observations and collaborations.

The student will develop techniques in HPC, numerical methods for ODEs/PDEs, and machine learning to interpret data and predict tissue-level emergent properties such as robustness and scaling.
