As an Assessor & Relationship Manager, you’ll split your time between delivering high-quality commercial education and assessment sessions in our academy and visiting employers to assess apprentices' progress, offer support, and cultivate positive working relationships. This dual role is ideal for someone who thrives both in a practical teaching environment and in the field, ensuring apprentices receive the best possible learning experience.

Salary£27,000- £30,000 per annum, pro rata, based on hours
PayFrom £12.21 per hour
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and inspiring hairdressing education sessions within the academy.
- Assess, review and support apprentices on-site at employer locations.
- Track apprentice progress and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their qualifications.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with employer partners to support their business needs.
- Ensure all apprentices meet their learning outcomes and quality standards.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to keep your teaching relevant and impactful.
- A qualified hairdressing professional with relevant teaching/training qualifications (Cert Ed, DTTLS or equivalent & Assessing Qualifications, NVQ Level 3 in Hairdressing) Desirable.
- Industry experience in hairdressing, with a passion for education and mentoring.
- Prior teaching or assessing experience, ideally a minimum of 3 years.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and build relationships with employers and apprentices alike.
- A self-motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team.
- Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel to employer sites.
