About this Role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Guitar Teacher to join the Music Department at The Frances Bardsley Academy for Girls.
You will be required to deliver inspiring one-to-one lessons and support students in reaching their full potential.
The current requirement is for 2 hours of tuition per week; however, this may vary according to Year 7 student uptake.
The successful candidate will
- Share our commitment to building great learning communities for our students.
- Inspire young women with a passion for the guitar
- Plan and prepare engaging individual Guitar lessons.
- Teach and deliver individual/small group music sessions and activities, ensuring effective learning takes place and students make excellent progress
- Be motivated to challenge and help develop amazing young women
- Prepare and support students for performances, examinations and auditions, as appropriate.
- Provide feedback and give advice on student performance and skills.
