Established in 1994, The Fragrance Shop is the UK’s leading independent fragrance retailer. Our aim is to make mainstream and luxury fragrances affordable and accessible to all. We showcase more than 130 fragrance brands in over 220 stores throughout the UK and online. We are expanding and are looking for a Buying Assistant to join the team and be part of a growing and vibrant brand.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Allocations to stores, ensuring effective and appropriate allocation of SKU’s to the correct distribution to maximise sales and availability.
- Providing key support to the merchandising team through purchase order management, store allocations management and analysis of data.
- Work with Branch Merchandiser on micro merchandising initiatives.
- Ensure that stock is allocated on time and highlight any issues.
- Support the set up and maintenance of product information.
- Supporting the Branch Merchandiser by running reports and carrying out analysis to improve availability at stores.
- Assist in allocation on new store packages.
- Respond to store queries with regards to stock, testers and new product launches.
- Management of the PO order book including liaising with suppliers to ensure stock is delivered on time and manage any supply issues.
- Raise, send and log purchase orders when support is needed.
- Work closely with buying and VM team.
EXPERTISE TO MATCH
- Previous experience as an Assistant Merchandiser or Senior Merch Admin Assistant within a Head Office environment.
- Ability to work in a detailed and accurate manner and deliver consistent data.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of Management.
