As the Scentaddict Marketing Executive, you will support the growth of one of the most exciting fragrance subscription brands in the UK. This role blends creativity with commercial focus, covering social media management, influencer marketing, brand campaigns, content creation, and event activation. You’ll be a key player in shaping the Scentaddict brand story— developing trend-led content, executing marketing campaigns, and building strong creator partnerships to engage and expand our customer community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Insight & Brand Positioning
- Develop a deep understanding of the Scentaddict customer profile, including demographics, psychographics, preferences, and purchasing behavior within the fragrance subscription market.
- Monitor and analyze customer feedback, reviews, and community conversations to identify evolving needs, motivations, and pain points.
- Use customer insights to inform marketing messaging, content tone, and campaign positioning to ensure the brand resonates authentically with target audiences.
- Support brand positioning initiatives by highlighting Scentaddict’s unique value proposition—affordable, curated, and convenient access to premium fragrances through a subscription model.
- Collaborate with customer service and data teams to integrate customer journey insights into marketing strategies, ensuring consistency from discovery through subscription and retention.
- Champion the Scentaddict community culture by identifying key customer segments such as fragrance novices, enthusiasts, and gift buyers, tailoring engagement approaches accordingly.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor positioning to maintain Scentaddict’s competitive edge and innovative appeal in the fragrance subscription space.
Social Media & Content Creation:
- Manage daily social media activity across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging and on-brand content across social channels.
- Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar aligned with brand campaigns and seasonal activations.
- Monitor trends, culture, and competitor activity to produce timely and relevant content.
- Respond to comments, DMs, and community queries to foster engagement and loyalty.
Influencer Marketing & PR:
- Identify and engage relevant influencers and creators for collaborations, gifting, and campaigns.
- Coordinate influencer briefing, content tracking, and performance reporting.
- Support influencer seeding programmes and work with the PR team to align on joint campaigns.
- Assist in the creation of press materials and build ongoing relationships with media and content partners.
Campaigns & Brand Activations:
- Assist in planning and executing integrated brand campaigns that build awareness and drive subscriptions.
- Brief and manage creative assets for digital, social, and influencer campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
- Support planning and delivery of pop-ups, sampling activities, and brand collaborations
Analytics & Reporting:
- Analyse social, influencer, and campaign performance, reporting on key metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
- Produce monthly reports on social growth, engagement, and campaign ROI.
- Work closely with internal departments such as digital, trading, customer service, and design to ensure Scentaddict is effectively represented across channels.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging platforms to drive innovation and keep the brand ahead of the curve.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing, social media, influencer management, or events—ideally in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle.
- Strong understanding of social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) and content best practices.
- Confident copywriter with a creative mindset and trend awareness.
- Experience with influencer sourcing, briefing, and campaign execution.
- Skilled in content creation and basic editing using tools such as Final Cut Pro, Canva, or Adobe Suite.
- Analytical and data-driven with reporting experience.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about fragrance, creativity, and delivering a standout customer experience.
KEY OBJECTIVES & DELIVERABLES
OBJECTIVES:
Subscription Acquisition & Retention
Deliver quarterly campaigns that directly drive subscription sign-ups with a target of x% increase in new subscribers per quarter, while contributing to initiatives that reduce churn and support x% improvement in retention rate YoY.
Influencer Events & Brand Funding
Plan and execute 4 influencer events annually, each with co-funded brand support and partnerships, aiming to secure minimum x brand partners per event and reach a combined audience of x+ per activation.
PR & Press Coverage
Support PR activity that achieves at least 1 piece of tier 1 media coverage each month (e.g. beauty/fashion press, online or print) and 3–5 creator features or mentions per month.
Social Media Growth & Engagement
Grow Scentaddict\'s Instagram and TikTok audience by x% per quarter, and improve engagement rates by x% YoY across key platforms through creative content and community interaction.
WEEKLY DELIVERABLES:
- Content Planning & Scheduling: Maintain and update the rolling social calendar, plan upcoming posts and liaise with the design/content team as needed.
- Community Engagement: Respond to DMs and comments, engage with relevant creators and followers to build authentic relationships.
- Influencer Communication: Reach out to influencers for seeding, collaborations, or feedback. Track responses and maintain CRM.
- Performance Check-In: Review key metrics on Monday mornings to understand what’s working and inform upcoming content.
- Campaign Support: Work with the wider marketing team to execute deliverables for ongoing or upcoming campaigns.
- Trend Spotting: Monitor competitor activity, cultural trends, and emerging formats. Share weekly insights or reactive content opportunities.
- Internal Updates: Attend weekly marketing meetings with campaign updates, metrics, and upcoming plans.
