The role:
Reporting to the People Operations Manager, the Talent & Engagement Manager will focus on both talent acquisition and wider people engagement with the aim of driving forward our candidate and employee experience, centring on key “moments that matter.”
What will I be doing?
- Talent
- Evaluating our current candidate journey end to end and proposing and implementing enhancements.
- Using AI where possible to assist our recruitment processes.
- Managing our career page, and advertising roles.
- Developing engaging adverts and recruitment campaigns.
- Working with recruiting managers at head office and within stores, understanding their recruitment needs in the first instance.
- Supporting recruiting managers with invites, interviews, assessments, candidate feedback.
- Co‑ordinating and organising internal and external recruitment events (Job shows/fairs).
- Identifying the best routes to market for a variety of roles at FQ, stores and warehouse.
- Co‑ordinating any apprenticeships.
- Sourcing and headhunting top talent.
- Working to recruitment KPIs – i.e. vacancy fill time, cost per hire, candidate NPS.
- Monitoring diversity of applicants/candidates.
- Building solid relationships with local Universities and colleges.
- Focusing on internal mobility within stores, FQ and Warehouse.
- Engagement
- Assisting with devising and rolling out annual engagement plans across the business – FQ, stores and warehouse.
- Assisting with our health and wellbeing at work and recognition plans.
- Ensuring regular surveys / shorter temperature checks take place.
- Establishing ways to communicate better with our employees at every step of their journey.
- People
- Providing general support to the People Operations Manager and wider people team as and when required.
What will I need?
- A love of fragrance and beauty!
- Relevant experience in both recruitment and people engagement.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent (desirable).
- A passion for people engagement.
- Creativity, resilience and a results driven mindset.
- The ability to juggle many tasks in a fast paced ever changing retail landscape.
- A desire to make a difference and have impact early on.
