Location: Hybrid

Hours: Full-time/Part time available

Base: Sevenoaks, with client site visits across London & South East

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 p.a.

Support of Level 5 CIPD via apprenticeship is available.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and advising on ER cases (disciplinary, grievance, probation, etc.) with a good working knowledge of employment law and ACAS statutory codes
  • Providing clear, legally sound guidance to clients and colleagues
  • Supporting recruitment campaigns and benchmarking terms and conditions
  • Drafting and maintaining policies, templates, and SOPs
  • Delivering prepared training sessions to clients
  • Supporting the implementation of new processes and systems
  • Working collaboratively with the wider HR team to support client success

About you

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have solid UK generalist HR experience, ideally supporting SMEs
  • Bring strong employee relations experience and confidence leading on cases
  • Can provide clear, structured advice even when situations feel fast‑moving or unclear
  • Have good commercial judgement and understand the realities of small businesses
  • Communicate with clarity, warmth and professionalism
  • Can balance multiple priorities without losing sight of detail
  • Enjoy working autonomously while valuing collaboration and shared standards
  • Hold Level 3 CIPD (or equivalent)
  • Open to complete CIPD Level 5 or working towards/ Hold CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent)
  • Experience within HR Consultancy

Working Pattern

One fixed day per week (Monday) in our Sevenoaks office. At least one additional day per week (typically Thursday) either in the Sevenoaks office or at a client site. Remaining days can be worked remotely.

Experience in a consultancy environment is welcome but not essential, what matters most is your ability to build trust, deliver practical HR and work confidently with SME leaders. We’re open to conversations about alternative working patterns (including part‑time or specific days/hours). Sharing your preferences won’t affect your application, it simply helps us understand potential flexibility as we review candidates.
