site engineer will be responsible for providing accurate site setting out and engineering support throughout the project, working closely with the Site Manager and wider construction team.,
- Carry out accurate setting out and surveying duties across the warehouse project.
- Establish and maintain control points, grids, levels and benchmarks.
- Interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Provide technical support and ensure works are completed to the required tolerances.
- Liaise with site management, subcontractors and other engineering teams.
- Complete relevant quality and inspection records.
- Ensure all works comply with health and safety requirements. We are looking for a reliable and technically competent setting out engineer with previous experience working on large-scale commercial, industrial or warehouse projects. The ideal setting out engineer will have strong knowledge of construction surveying, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently on a busy site. Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction or Surveying are preferred, along with experience using surveying equipment such as Total Stations and GPS.
